Over 30 children attended a Christmas party at Wellington Tennis Club where they enjoyed burgers and hotdogs followed by games organised by the coach, Dan Sizer. Afterwards, ‘Most Improved’ player trophies were presented to Naomi Southcott, Madison Butcha, Arthur Steele and Sam Mullen whilst Ben Wardell received ‘Keenest Player’ medal. The party ended with the children enjoying delicious cakes provided by committee members and parents. “We were so lucky with the weather and everyone had a marvellous time. Seeing so many children loving their tennis was wonderful to see,” said Chairman, Sue Rackley. Tennis coaching starts again on 10th January.
