Court Fields Community School’s Head Rachael Bennett has paid tribute to the achievements of GCSE pupils at the school in comments posted on the school’s website and in the local media on Saturday 26th August.
She referred to “the superb year of GCSE results from the Class of 2017 – the first year group to tackle the new GCSEs in maths and English.”
She said, “An impressive 33 per cent of students attained the highest grades of A*/A or equivalent in their subjects” and made particular reference to “Elise Parkinson, Sam Colman, Dana Liepina and Chris Coupe, who made the most progress in their time at Court Fields, exceeding many of their targets.
“John Gilding, Aaron Filler, Bethany Griffin and Bronwyn Cheshire attained the highest grades sweeping an incredible 35 A*/A between them. It is delightful to see so many elated students secure in the knowledge that they can now go on to college with confidence as they have successfully achieved their grades.
“Congratulations to all students at Court Fields and the very best for the future.”
