Mark Nichols won this exciting game for Wellington by kicking an injury-time penalty.
It ended a splendid fight-back by the home side who trailed 26pts to 15 at one stage in the second half.
Wellington led 15-14 at the interval following tries by Chris Kitto and Nichols who also kicked a penalty and conversion.
Sam Kigscott scored Ivybridge’s only try of the first half while Alan Bradley laded three penalties, including two early on.
Bradley and Kingscott scored tries early in the second half with Bradley kicking a conversion to put Ivybridge in control.
But Wellington showed plenty of character in fighting back with tries by Ali Taylor and Micky Norman.
Nichols missed both conversions before he thumped over the winner on a heavy pitch from a difficult position.
