Where else but Clayhidon’s annual Moonstock Festival can you listen to great music, drink local ales and ciders straight from the cask, and enjoy a mind-blowing view across the Culm Valley to the Blackdown Hills beyond? Events kick off at 5pm on Friday, May 25, and run for three days until Sunday evening – for those still standing. It’s the fifth time the Half Moon Inn has hosted this terrific event.
This year the music includes bands Big Knight Out and Trefellas, soloists Alex hart and Darren Hodge, plus jazz from the Hot Club Trio. A full hog-roast and BBQ food service will operate in the pub garden, whilst a normal summer menu will be available in the restaurant. Moonstock this year raises funds for the Friends of Churchstanton School.
