Chloe Shaw, a pupil at Wellington School, spent part of her summer holiday working on an exciting project with the National Youth Music Theatre.
The summer began with a six day course involving acting, dance and vocal workshops and assistance with audition technique at Sevenoaks School in Kent, where 13 year old Chloe worked on the musical ‘Oh What a Lovely War’ with a group of students aged 11 to 23.
In August, Chloe performed extracts from the play at a charity day at Sandown Racecourse. The performers entertained race-goers whilst raising vital funds to support the National Youth Music Theatre’s work.
The organisation has helped launch the careers of many present-day stars including Jude Law, Jessie J, Sheridan Smith and Eddie Redmayne.
