Thriving local drama group, Wellington Theatre Company, is hosting a ‘Taster Evening’ of play readings on Friday 21st April at 7.30pm at Wellington Arts Centre, Eight Acre Lane, Wellington.
The open invite is for anyone interested in contributing in any way to the company’s ideas for their next productions. The reading will include ‘Abigail’s Party’, Mike Leigh’s excruciatingly funny drama and J B Priestley’s ‘An Inspector Calls’, as resonant today as when it was first performed in 1945. These two plays and others in the selection have been chosen to help the company plan its future programme.
A further ‘taster’ of snacks will be provided and the bar will be open. Contact Penny Bradnum on 01823 667388 for further details.
