The Priory Dreamscheme team has been busy with children from Priory estate filling planters to brighten up their local park, along with some weeding.
Their efforts build on the work the the young people have done, helping to deliver community leaflets and pick up litter around the estate.
The Dreamscheme is community youth development based on a simple concept of WORK, POINTS and TRIPS. A work session is held during each school holiday, and the next one will be in the October half-term. The children taking part have been working really hard and are earning lots of points which they can turn in to a reward trip at the end of the year.
Dreamscheme is a partnership project between Taunton Deane Borough Council, Knightstone Housing Association, Avon and Somerset Police, supported by Wellington One Team.
Parental consent is required prior to a young person taking part. For more info or to request a consent form, please contact Martha Dudman, 07919 540982, firstname.lastname@example.org
