BBC Worldwide are looking for small independent businesses to take part in a major series about strategies for coping with both the recession and the changing pattern of High St spending.
“We are making a 10 part series for a major TV channel all about small to medium sized businesses in the UK. The premise of the show is how independently run companies in the UK could change their marketing strategy to generate more footfall and cope in the current climate,” explained production assistant charlotte Numan.
“We feel that this is an amazing opportunity for any business in the local community. We look to hear from and speak to companies where annual turnover is not increasing and they might benefit from some marketing advice.”
Charlotte has asked Around Wellingto publicise the programme in the hope that some businesses from our area wll take part. Perhaps last month’s spurt of appearances on ITV has put Wellington on the boadcasters’ map?
“I have included the new flyer that we are circulating, this now highlights specific businesses that we would like to talk to as well as any others that take interest. http://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/shows/beonashow/business_documentary
