There was something very strange happening at St John’s CofE Primary School this week – SILENCE!
Members of the School Council were taking part in a sponsored silence. There was no whispering, no talking and not a single sound crossed the lips of the representatives. And it was all in a very good cause as the children raised more than £60 for Conquest Riding for the Disabled and Able bodied.
School Administrator Jo Rogers said, “The children were fantastic, giving up their lunch break – with teachers Mrs Davies and Mrs Weymouth joining in too. Well done and thank you parents for your support too!”
