Somerset’s Flip Out on Chelston Business Park, Wellington, officially opened its doors on Saturday 7 October after a £1.5 million development.
This huge arena which covers 36,000 square feet and has 106 inter-linked trampolines, 2 Olympic-sized trampolines, stunt box, Ninja warrior course, battle beams, dodgeball courts and slam dunk basketball welcomed the first official visitors to what is guaranteed to be a very popular activity venue. Pupils at St John’s Primary School had already enjoyed a sneak preview of the impressive facilities before the official opening.
The ribbon was cut by trampolinist Corey Walkes (16) who has recently been selected for the GB 2020 Olympic Potential Squad. Corey lives in Radstock and has just begun studying for his A levels in the 6th form at Beechen Cliff Secondary School in Bridgwater where he trains at the Quayside Trampoline and Gymnastics Club.

With party and conference rooms, a viewing gallery, a cafe and a comprehensive package of activities for all ages from toddlers upwards, it joins 65 Flip Out venues in 7 countries; Flip Out is the fastest-growing trampoline park operator in the world.
General Manager Jeremy Appiah has taken on 50 staff from the local community at the centre and has used local companies for much of the work needed to develop the centre.
