Swallowfield buys up a £3m Fish

Swallowfield, the town’s second biggest employer, has made another exapansionary move into the mens’ grooming market by buying the Fish range of hair products. The company is paying £3m for the brand which is linked to a famous hair salon of the same name in Soho. Just over a year ago Swallowfield acquired the Real Shaving Company and Tru.

The Wellington-based cosmetics company, has almost trebled its profits in the past financial year, up from £2m to £5.7m on a turnover that is up from £74.3m – a 36% rise.

    Swallowfield acquired the Real Shaving Company at least three years ago and they have sponsored Somerset County Cricket Club’s Twenty/20 team for the last two years and are continuing to do so for the coming cricket season.
