Local musicians Thunderbridge Bluegrass Band have had a busy year playing festivals, arts centres, pubs and releasing a new CD. They’ve even done some filming for one of the most successful TV shows in history, but they can’t tell you which one!
In a return to Wellington they play their first full-length set at their local haunt, The Beambridge Inn on Thursday 8th December. They’ll introduce you to songs from the new CD, some classics, old favourites and who knows, they may even tell you about their television shenanigans…
Singer Nick Girone-Maddocks said “It’s great to be coming back to The Beambridge – we love it there. We’ve played there loads over the years but only as opening acts for some of the great travelling bands we get coming through. This gig will give us the chance to play a full set to our home crowd, which is something they’ve asked for many times“
Support for the long-awaited show comes from new old time and bluegrass duo Kieran Towers and Charlotte Carrivick, both names of high-regard in their musical field, and with the top-notch hosts, make this evening one not to miss!
Tickets are £10 each and are available from the band’s website thunderbridgebluegrass.uk, from the venue and also from Gibbins Richards in Wellington High Street.
