A 44 ton lorry carrying timber from Hull to Hemyock has overturned in a narrow country lane close to the River Culm near Clayhidon.
It is believed that a sat nav error led the driver to use the lane which is unsuitable for large vehicles and the lorry overturned when a wheel caught the roots of an oak tree. The driver was unhurt in the incident but the road is blocked.
This is the second incident involving the tree. Five years ago a lorry loaded with chickens overturned at the same location and two cranes were needed to right the lorry.
