Ben and Victoria Fox, with business partners Peter and Caroline Insull, threw a wonderful party at Tonedale House to celebrate 20 years in business as The Big House Company.
“It’s a big thank you to so many people who have worked with us over the years to keep the house alive and make it a success,” said Ben. The Victorian mansion and the gardens were packed with Wellington people who have worked as with a large team of housekeepers, caterers, cleaners and gardeners at Tonedale.
Ballerina Darcey Bussell and comedian Alexander Armstrong are among the celebrities who have rented the house for parties, as well as corporate clients such as Microsoft and Sainsburys using Tonedale and Grange for conferences and seminars.
Ben paid tribute to his cousin Richard Fox who had lived at the house prior to handing it on to a younger generation. “Even the idea of the big House co was down to Richard and we owe him a huge thank you,” said Ben.
