Dementia awareness charity Reminiscence Learning is looking for an ‘Activity Angel’ to help the team with its ground-breaking work. The charity’s Director Fiona Mahoney says, “We’re looking for a new, dynamic Activity Angel – initially 12 hours a week guaranteed but with the potential for this to increase.
Applicants need to:
*Enjoy planning and delivering creative and innovative activities to suit individual needs
*Be enthusiastic and self motivated
*Be able to work alone and within a fun and driven team
*Have full driving licence and own vehicle as you will be working at our base in Wellington and other venues across Somerset.
Experience of working with learning disabilities and dementia an advantage.”
The award-winning charity is responsible for the Archie Project which has had an impact on the perception of dementia in schools and communities across the region.
