The two victims of the fatal crash on the A38 at Whiteball in the early hours of Sunday morning have now been named.
Alex Pintea, 20, and Nicu Manea, 23, were both Romanian nationals. Their families and friends are now trying to raise funds to repatriate their bodies for burial in Romania.
Mr Pintea who was the driver of the car lived in Wellington and his passenger, Mr Manea, is understood to have worked for 21 Sisters Food Group in Willand.
A second passenger in the car driven by Mr Pintea and the driver of the other vehicle suffered minor injuries in the incident which happened on a notorious stretch of the A38 outside Wellington just after midnight.
Avon and Somerset Police said that they are still investigating the crash and have appealed for witnesses to contact the Collision Investigation Unit on 101 using reference number 148/17.
