The Year 10 GCSE Drama Group at Wellington School has entered the National Theatre Connections Project, this is a national platform to perform a new play. The students will perform their own piece ‘Mobile Phone Show’ at school and then at the Bristol Old Vic, they could then be chosen to perform at the National Theatre in London.
“This is a fabulous opportunity for our students to perform an unusual piece at a nationally acclaimed level,” said Samantha Davis, Drama teacher at Wellington School. We are hoping the local audience will turn out in force to give them a taste of success!”
The pupils taking part are Elizabeth Crockett, Natalia Gullidge-Jones, Tyler Hart, William Howland, Rory Kyle, Amelia Palmer, Henry Savage, Victoria Shakeshaft, Eddie St George, Carlos Ho Yuan Tseng, Georgia Weatherlake and Ed Wilson
