Wellington’s Christian community joined together today to mark Good Friday, one of the most important dates in the church’s calendar.
Following a service at Wellington Baptist Church in South Street, the whole congregation united in the Walk of Witness, following the cross carried through the town to St John’s Church for a gathering with refreshments.
This annual event is an illustration of the strength of the Christian community in the town.
