The third SheppyFest on Saturday 1 September provided big crowds with an impressive musical line-up, food, cider and a great atmosphere for everyone – from the very young to those much older. By the evening the whole field at Sheppy’s Cider Farm was packed with festival-goers enjoying a mild, still night.
This year the line-up included Tristan Mackay, Engine Room, Jack & Joel and Skata Tones before the hugely popular group Leylines, returning from last year’s SheppyFest, opened the evening. The Ed Sheeran Experience, FILTA and headline act Coldplace, the leading Coldplay tribute band, brought down the curtain on the event.
Efficient organisation, security and crowd control measures meant that everyone could enjoy fine music and a very special experience. One festival-goer spoke for many when she said, “Amazing! Brilliant festival!”
