Musician, estate agent and local broadcaster Nick Girone-Maddocks met one of radio’s legends, Alan “Deadly” Dedicoat at a recent property industry awards ceremony. “Deadly was a feature on the Terry Wogan show for many years.
Gibbins Richards’ Wellington office, won a Silver award from Property Sharing Experts for “Effective use of Social Media” and were honoured and excited to have won such a prestigious award and delighted that their hard work had been recognised. The company also won two other wards, which were shared with their offices in Bridgwater and Taunton.
Around 200 guests attended the event, which was compered by Alan Dedicoat – probably best known as the ‘voice of the balls’ on the BBC’s National Lottery programmes, Alan takes part in BBC telethons such as Children in Need announcing the amounts raised, is the voiceover in Strictly Come Dancing and has just retired as a BBC Radio 2 newsreader.
