Abigail June Wyatt, 26, of Trinity Close, Wellington, pleaded guilty at Taunton Crown Court to sending a communication via Facebook with intent to cause distress or anxiety and to possessing an imitation firearm with intent to cause fear of violence.
She was remanded on bail for a medical report. Her barrister, Patrick Mason, said that she was receiving treatment from her GP. Judge David Evans ordered pre-sentence and medical reports before Ms Wyatt appears before the court for sentencing on 24 March. She was granted bail on condition that she cooperated in preparation of the reports.
Last September she appeared before Taunton Deane and West Somerset magistrates accused of causing a public nuisance on August 25 by climbing railings on the Monument Road overbridge between junctions 26 and 27 and threatening to jump.
The charge said she caused the closure of the M5 for two and a half hours with stationary traffic tailing back for miles.
