Wellington Mayor Councillor Gary James will be on hand to talk to local residents in person next month.
On 5 September he will be taking tea in Odette’s Tearoom on the High Street from 2pm to 5 pm, providing an opportunity for residents to join him, have a chat, raise issues and generally communicate face to face about local and individual concerns.
Everyone is welcome to take this opportunity to air their views – over a cup of tea and a slice of cake should they wish – or just sit and chat in the comfortable setting of Odette’s.
Coincidentally, the Mayor he has chosen the date of Odette’s Tearoom’s third birthday for this event so this is a double celebration.
Co-owner of Odette’s, Nancy Powell-Brace, said, “Just come along between 2pm and 5pm to have your say.”
