Taunton MP Rebecca Pow managed to hang on to her seat in yesterday’s General Election. Pow’s majority went up by almost 5% to just under 16,000 votes.
“I’m so honoured and humbled to have been re-elected as the MP for Taunton Deane with a larger majority than before. Thanks to all who voted,” said Pow, who has been the constituency MP since 2015.
Lib Dem candidate Gideon Amos was runner-up and his party also had an increased share of the vote, up 6.3%
