Children from St John’s Primary School, Wellington came out in spots on Friday 17th November when the school went Spotacular for BBC Children in Need.
For The Big Spotacular children and teachers dressed up in spots, sold spotty cakes and goods and took part in spotty-themed challenges to raise more money than ever before for disadvantaged children and young people.
‘Spotty’ clothing ranged from hair ribbons to ties and pyjamas and two cuddly monkeys were raffled by members of the School Council. There was also an opportunity to win a ‘spotty’ cake by guessing the number of spots it contained.
The school’s efforts raised was a Spotacular £333.51 for Children in Need.
