The programme of Summer Entertainment in Wellington Park opens on Sunday 3rd June at 2.30pm with a Big Band Concert by Taunton Concert Band.
Presented by The Friends of Wellington Park, the popular programme of outdoor musical entertainment continues every Sunday until 26th August. Here’s their welcome message for this summer’s concerts: “Hello. The weather is looking very good for the weekend. We hope to see you all in the park for our first Sunday afternoon concert. We kick off, as usual, with the very popular Taunton Concert Band at 2.30. There will be hot and cold drinks, snacks and ices on sale close to the bandstand.
The newly resurfaced paths will make it easy for wheelchair users, mobility scooters, prams, pushchairs and not forgetting the people who like to dance as the area in front of the bandstand is now beautifully smooth!!”
