People who enjoyed a visit to the Longforth Farm archaeology site last summer have now chance to vote to win the project a national award in the Current Archaeology 2014 competition.
“Around Wellington reported on the exciting discovery of a mystery medieval building at Longforth Farm in July last year,” said Laura Joyner of Wessex Archaeology dig team.“We’re keen for the people of Wellington to hear about this prestigious Current Archaeology Award 2014 nomination for the site so that they have the chance to support, and vote for, their local heritage. “
