Waterloo Road Community Pre-School has been chosen to benefit from the Co-op Local Community Fund this year and is asking for people to give their support.
They say: “We’re urging local members to choose us as their cause so that we can deliver our project and help children in Wellington.
“We are a committee run pre-school based in the Methodist Church on Waterloo Road with the curriculum aim of nurturing happy, healthy and confident learners.
“We are fundraising to help us pay for a children’s wellbeing coach to come into our setting to offer yoga and mindfulness sessions for the children who attend. We would also like to purchase resources for staff to use in embedding this into our curriculum.
“We believe that offering this enrichment opportunity at our setting will provide children with valuable relaxation skills, support their emotional literacy and contribute to their mental wellbeing.”
When members buy selected Co-op branded products and services, 1p from every pound spent goes to support local causes like ours.

Waterloo Road Community Pre-School are holding an Open Day on Monday, March 28th, from 10am to 3pm.
