The charity Christian Response to Eastern Europe (cr2ee), which takes humanitarian aid to Ukraine and Moldova, says it is being “brilliantly supported” by Wellington Methodist Church and friends.
A spokesperson said: “The photo shows part of their latest collection of donations – new as well as good quality secondhand clothing for children, nappies, bedding, stationery, toys, candles.
“Candle stubbs are also needed as these are converted into larger candles for heating, lighting and cooking, particularly in Ukraine.
“Thanks also to the many people of Wellington and surrounding area who support the charity including Shooz of South Street.
