An impressive collection of vintage and classic vehicles of all kinds made a visually attractive and appealing opening to Wellington Carnival Day today (Saturday).
The annual Motor Show in the Conservative Club car park featured dozens of very well-cared for vintage and classic vehicles – cars, tractors, bikes and trucks – from decades ago.
Among the models, one small Sinclair C5 from 1985 was a reminder of the uncertain beginning of the age of battery-powered cars.
This was show for everyone – from small children to those more curious about what goes on under the bonnets of yesterday’s cars.
