An ‘interactive community workshop’ is taking place this week to explore how we can work together to create a more water-aware and sustainable Wellington.
Wessex Water and Wellington Town Council are hosting the event at the Kings Arms Community Hub on Wednesday from 5.30pm to 7pm.
Topics being discussed will include:
💧 Saving water and reducing waste.
💷 Practical ways to save money at home.
🌳 Protecting our local rivers, green spaces and environment.
🏡 Supporting households, schools and community groups.
🌱 Future projects and activities for Wellington
🗣️ Sharing ideas and helping shape what happens next.
A town council spokesperson said: “This is your opportunity to influence future activities, campaigns and community projects which could take place across Wellington over the next year.
“Whether you’re a resident, allotment holder, volunteer, teacher, community group member, business owner or simply interested in Wellington’s future, we’d love to hear your ideas.”
