Ahmet Boga has re-opened his popular kebab and pizza business in North St, five months after the planned Old Town Hall pub development forced him to close down.
The new takeaway shop is in the former Indian restaurant next door to Kings Cycles and just yards from Ahmet’s former premises.
“it’s been an awful time since we closed,” said Ahmet. “But we’re here now and the old customers are coming back. We’ve been in Wellington a long time and if you look after people they remember.”
He paid tribute to the help and support he’s had from Jeremy Browne MP in dealing with landlords and TDBC planners in the battle to re-locate Wellington Kebab & Pizza.
