A joyous Carols by Candlelight event, featuring Wellington Silver Band, took place in St John’s Church this evening (Tuesday).
Led by the Rev Colin Simpson, Priest-in-Charge, it included readings, festive medleys from the band, a performance by the St John’s Singers and, not surprisingly, a few carols!
There was an excellent turnout for a wonderful evening which captured the meaning of Christmas and, at its conclusion, Rev Simpson thanked the band, the singers and everyone who had attended.
