St John’s Parish Church has arranged a year of monthly coffee mornings, along with two fairs, to boost church funds.
Today (Saturday), the church will hold its first coffee morning of 2026 from 10am until noon in the church hall.
A spokesperson said: “ There will be the usual raffle, refreshments and delicious cake stall as well as an unwanted gift stall – so come and grab a bargain!
“Due to the success of working alongside independent stall holders at our fairs, from February two of them will attend each coffee morning.
‘We will invite different stallholders each time in order to offer something different for everyone.
“All welcome – bring a friend, enjoy a chat and browse the stalls.”
