Easy enough to recognise these desperadoes now, without their Movember disguises. But would you know them on the last day of the month when their due to display their new 30-day moustaches, grown for charity – like thousands of other sets of dodgy facial hair around the UK.
Their stage name is the Hairy Dolphins and they’re set to reveal all during a Mexican night this Friday [30th] at the Dolphin pub in aid of fund-raising for prostate and testicular cancer.
“We’re having Mexican games – whatever they are , nachos and fajitas, a Tijuana raffle plus live music,” promised landlady and ringmaster Anna Gorman. Local star Nick Girone-Maddocks will be showcasing his new solo album Broken Radios, plus good-time band the Great Western Revellers.
Entry is £5 [no food] or £10 with supper.
