The Wellington branch of the Royal British Legion will fold unless a new chairman can be found.
An Extraordinary General Meeting has been called and takes place this evening (Thursday) at the Baptist Church.
The branch says it is needed to elect a new chairman – “without one, the branch obviously can’t keep going.”
The branch meet throughout the year and organise the annual Poppy Appeal along with our town’s Remembrance events and other military commemorations.
The EGM starts at 7.30pm and all are welcome.
