Paul Prettejohn Garden Machinery – local supplier of garden machinery, agricultural and ground care products – is expanding.
Paul started the business in 2000 from his home at Luppitt, near Honiton, and it went from strength to strength with an additional showroom at Blackdown Garden Centre, near Wellington, opening in 2011.
Recently, Paul successfully applied for a grant from the Rural Payments Agency (RPA) Growth Programme to cover up to a third of the development costs to build a new purpose-built facility at Castle Road on Chelston Business Park.
With a large workshop, showroom and office space, this new unit will become the main HQ and will offer sales, servicing and repairs for ride-on mowers, lawn mowers and all other types of garden equipment.
A spokesperson said: “The building work is in full swing and Paul and his team look forward to welcoming you all to a grand opening some time in the near future.”
