Thrive Talking Café – Evening Sessions

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming, whether that’s due to parenting pressures, caring responsibilities, money worries, loneliness, housing concerns or simply having too much going on.

We’re pleased to be working with Thrive to host an evening Talking Café at the Kings Arms Community Hub. The sessions are informal, friendly and confidential, offering a welcoming space to talk, seek advice or simply connect with others over a cup of tea.

Upcoming dates:

  • Monday, 8th June
  • Monday, 13th July
  • Monday, 10th August

Time: 6.30pm – 8.00pm

No referral is needed and everyone is welcome. Tea, coffee, toast, biscuits and friendly faces are provided.

Carers Week – Supporting Unpaid Carers

During Carers Week, the Kings Arms Community Hub will be hosting a series of drop-in sessions to raise awareness of the support available to unpaid carers in Wellington.

Many people do not identify themselves as carers, despite regularly supporting a family member, friend or neighbour.

The sessions will provide information, advice and signposting, as well as an opportunity to learn more about local support available through the Wellington Cares project and partner organisations.

If you know someone who may benefit, please help us spread the word.

Thank You

Thank you to everyone who continues to support the Kings Arms Community Hub. Whether you attend activities, volunteer, deliver services, hire rooms or simply help us share information, you are helping us create a stronger, more connected community.
