Local musician Jon Maybey will be performing his latest solo show at Wellington Arts Centre tonight (Saturday).
Mainly a guitarist but also playing several other instruments including the mandolin, Jon has been present on the local music scene since moving to the town in 2010.
He performed at the first Welliestock festival in 2016 and, more recently, at the Garden of Light which took place in Wellington Park last October.
Jon also brought together many of Wellington’s musicians during his management of the extensive live music programme at the now closed Dolphin pub.
His new show is at 8pm and promises a special guest vocalist and other surprises.
