A reminder that waste and recycling collections are changing over the Easter bank holiday weekend.
Collections due on Good Friday will take place on Saturday and there will be no collections on Easter Monday.
During the following week, all collections will take place one day later than usual, with Friday collections happening on Saturday, April 11th.
To help crews complete collections as quickly as possible, residents are asked to put their boxes, bags and bins out by 7am on collection day, or the night before.
As collections are a day later than usual, higher volumes of waste are expected.
Squashing, crushing and flattening items can help create more space in containers and reduce the number of trips collection crews need to make.

All 16 Somerset recycling sites have now moved to their spring and summer opening hours.
From this date, sites are now open from 9am to 6pm, Monday to Friday and 9am to 4pm at weekends
Recycling sites will remain open over the Easter weekend, from 9am to 4pm on Saturday and Sunday.
