Wellington Majorettes are running a taster session for potential new members this week.
It takes place at IKB Primary School on Friday from 6pm to 8pm.
The group say: “We have had quite a few enquiries over the holidays.
“We have, therefore, decided to have a free evening for new members to come and have a go before we get back into the full swing of things,
“A parent/guardian or responsible adult aged over 18 needs to attend in the first instance or make contact by emailing wellingtonmajorettes@outlook.co.uk.
“We look forward to welcoming you.”
Meanwhile, the majorettes held a successful fundraising week in the Pop-Up Shop.
“We raised a profit of £907.75p for our funds and hopefully we have a few new members joining us in September.
“Thank you for all you donations and support; it is truly appreciated.
“We have now secured one of the free charity dates for the Pop-Up Shop in February.”
