Wellington’s most visual pub has had a facelift. The dolphin’n’octopus mural has disappeared from the outside walls of The Dolphin and been replaced by an edgier look.
“The old mural was a bit Marmite,” said pub owner Anna Madams. “Personally I loved it but I know that quite a few people didn’t.
“Our other pub in Bristol has just had a new paint job and the artist, Andy Colwill, did such a great job on the Prince of Wales that I thought it would be good to get him down to Wellington and let him loose on the The Dolphin.”
