Wellington Football Club extended their unbeaten run at the weekend but could only take a single point from their 1-1 away draw against Ashton and Backwell who lie in tenth place in the league.
WAFC still maintain their lead at the top of Toolstation Division 1 but rivals Keynsham Town – who lie in second place – maintained their pressure on the top spot with an away victory against Portishead. The gap between the two teams is now just 4 points although Wellington have a game in hand.
The Tangerines next match is on Saturday 21st January away at Chippenham Park, a team lying in 21st place in the league.
