Wellesley Park Primary School’s PTA hosted a timely Strawberry Evening for parents, carers and pupils at the school on Thursday 28 June.
Perfect summer weather and tables outside for strawberries and cream and the school’s fine musicians inside providing entertainment made for a delightful social occasion – even for those with an eye on the clock before England’s televised World Cup game against Belgium.
The PTA’s next event is the Summer Fair on 7 July followed by the leavers’ disco on 12 July.
