There is now a local centre for acupuncture and Chinese medicine in the area. Practitioners in Hemyock are able to offer this ancient eastern remedy.
Following an application by Kerry Wratten BSc(Hons) Lic.Ac MBAcC (Acupuncturist) and Sue Moore Bsc(Hons)Chiro, RGN, IVCA (Chiropractor), The Blackdown Healthy Living Centre is pleased to announce that it has been granted a ‘sharps licence’.
Inspectors from Mid Devon District Council’s licencing department found The Centre passed the standards required to allow sterile needles to be used on-site, by qualified professionals.
Sue has been treating locals, at The Centre, since it opened and holds a regular, busy clinic, twice weekly.
Kerry recently started practicing Traditional Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine here in Hemyock but is not new to practice. She already holds regular clinics in Seaton, South Petherton and Ilminster.
