Pupils at Sampford Arundel School set up their own breakfast club as part of their fundraising for the international children’s charity Unicef. Cereal, fruit pancakes, toast and hot chocolate were prepared and served by the school council raising over £70 for the charity. And because it was breakfast several children came in their pyjamas.
Headteacher Eddie East said that he was proud of the children, “It was all their own idea and they did all the work from menu planning to shopping, cooking and washing up.”
