Celloman haven’t gigged in Wiveliscombe for maybe a decade but they play at The Bear on Saturday as part of the 10 Parishes festival. Lots of us remember them well from some local gigs and playing at Womad.
Celloman, led by Ivan Hussey, fuse classical sounds with African, Middle Eastern and jazz rhythms. Ivan is a a world class musician who’s collaborated with loads of fantastic musicians over the years. Absolutely wowed many of us several times. This is a gig to get to.
The first set will be mellow and include tracks from their latest cd ‘Moods, Broods and Interludes’. The second set will be livelier dance material.
Tickets £5 on the door only. Limited space so be there by 7pm
