The Rotary Club of Wellington District will be having its third Annual Used Book Sale from Saturday 13th April to Saturday 20th April and needs your help to make this year’s sale even bigger and better than last year’s. The target is to raise £5000.
Please bring any unwanted books in fair-to-good condition, either fiction or non-fiction, to one of 3 collection points: Porter Dodson Solicitors; Wilkie May & Tuckwood Estate Agents, or C and C Carpets in Mantle Street. Rotary members will then sort the books and prepare them for the Sale.
No amount is too small or too big ! If you are unable to deliver your books please contact either Brian Withers on 01823 663581 or Nick Williams on 01823 283487 who will be pleased to arrange collection.
Rotary are hoping to raise a large amount of money for three very worthwhile causes: The Children’s Hospice (SW); The Alzheimer’s Society and Wellington charity WHERE. The Sale will take place in our ‘usual’ venue at 11 Fore Street (between Gregg’s Bakers & Dotty Dolly’s) and books may also be dropped off there after 10th April.
