More than 40 members of Wellington Tennis Club gathered at The Blackbird Inn for their annual Christmas Dinner last week. Two players received special awards: Edward Cross was presented with a trophy for the Most Improved Player and The Chairman’s Cup went to Geoff Lee. Simon and Lydia Cross presented Sue Rackley with a bouquet in recognition of her work over the year as the club’s Chairman.
