Congratulations to the U14A team from Wellington School who are through to the quarter finals of the Sisters n Sport Netball Bowl after a nail-biting game.
After a slightly slow start, the girls finished the first quarter three goals down but this was the fuel they needed to come back into the remaining quarters, fighting for every opportunity to score.
Everyone showed huge amounts of resilience and worked as a team with some outstanding individual performances.
Opposition player-of-the-match went to Nerys who had an incredible game, scoring over 90 per cent of her shots and controlling the ball down court beautifully.
Coaches’ player-of-the match was Anya who is already playing up a year group but remained calm under pressure.
Well done to the whole team – Nerys ,Esme, Esme, Lexi, Gweni, Jemima, Imogen, Issy, Anya and Chloe.
