Wellington Arts Association has paid tribute to everyone who made Robin Hood and the Babies in the Wood such an amazing success.
The curtain came down at the Wellesley yesterday (Sunday) after seven critically acclaimed performances.
The association posted the following message on its social media pages: “We want to say a massive thank you to every single person who watched our pantomime.
“We absolutely loved performing to the most amazing audiences. We really hope you enjoyed it as much as we did!
“Of course, none of this would have happened without our amazing cast, crew and creative team.
“A huge thank you goes to Kirk, our Director, Rob, our Musical Director, and Holly, our Choreographer. They all put in a huge amount of work into this production, and it most definitely paid off.
“Thank you to our crew, led by the magnificent Stage Manager, Claire, our DSM, Helen, our amazing set builders and designers, our backstage crew, our incredible lighting and sound team, led by Matt, Steve, John, Stu, our talented hair, makeup and dressing team, led by Kiera, our lovely props team, our extraordinary band, our awesome front-of-house team, our amazing chaperones, Gill at Around Wellington for the lovely review and and Andy at Shooting Pixels for taking incredible photos.
“Special mention to Katy for hand-sewing the majority of our costumes. She completely brought our characters to life onstage, and it wouldn’t have been the same without her help. Thank you also to Steph for costume help.
“Overall, so much work went into this production, from every person who stepped onstage, to those behind the scenes.
“We are so grateful to every single person who helped.
